With most working from home lately, we know it can be difficult to stay motivated when your routine is lacking. Keep reading for our go-to tips on how to stay productive while working from home.

Maintain a Routine

Waking up early in the morning and going about a "normal" routine means you'll hold yourself accountable. Setting designated times for certain personal and work-related tasks is the key to ensuring a work/life balance.

Morning Exercise
Working out is a great way to start your day as you are conquering one of the hardest tasks of your day. This makes you feel accomplished and motivated, preparing you for the rest of your tasks ahead.
Get Ready
Wash your face, brush your hair and get dressed! This makes you feel good and motivates you to accomplish all of your tasks set out for the day. We know you can be tempted to stay in your pyjamas all day, but that won’t make you feel like you are in "work mode" and can prompt procrastination. Trust us!
Assign a Designated Workspace
Have a designated workspace where there is everything you will need for the day. This ensures there are no distractions by having to continuously get up to get things. Note: your bed is not a workspace!!
To-do Lists
Write a to-do list with everything you want to accomplish for the day. Note your top three tasks that are priority and must be finished. This will allow you to feel more productive when they are complete. Plus, is there anything more satisfying than ticking off your tasks for the day?

Take Breaks

Lastly, we know how easy it can be to fall into the habit of not taking your breaks when working from home but try to avoid this! Get up, stretch your legs and get some fresh air to allow yourself to recharge and refocus.
