These inspirational women are each on a journey to help those in need, those who need hope, encouragement and survival skills in the crazy world we live in. You may or may not have heard of these 4 women, but they do not go silently. These brave, courageous women are powerfully impacting change.

Meet Audette Exel

- The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Adara Group

The Adara Group is an organisation where the core objective of the business is to fund Adara Development. They are working with communities and children in remote areas of Nepal and Uganda, improving their lives through health, education and other community development projects. Audette has proven combining business with non for-profit organisations creates a a solid foundation for change.

Meet Turia Pitt

- Humanitarian, Athlete & Motivationalist

At 24, Turia's life was turned upside down when she became trapped in a grass fire while competing in a 100km ultramarathon. Turia survived against overwhelming odds, and defied every expectation placed on her. She's now an ambassador for Interplast (look it up, they're incredible), donating her time to host events, speaking, leading fundraisers and highlighting the work they do in media interviews. Turia has also been busy working on Haapii, a foundation with the overall aim of providing kids in developing countries with the best educational resources possible. Wow!

Meet Christine Caine

- Australian activist, Evangelist, International speaker and Founder of A21

Christine has a passion for justice, and together with her husband, founded the anti-human trafficking organisation, The A21 Campaign. You may have heard us talk about her before, well she's incredible! They also founded Propel Women, an organisation designed to celebrate every woman's passion, purpose, and potential. She's dedicated to abolishing injustice in the 21st century. A21's approach includes raising awareness, preventing future trafficking, taking legal action, and providing rehabilitation services to survivors.

Meet Gemma Sisia

- Australian humanitarian, provides education in Tanzania, Africa

Gemma's desire to help in Africa arose from the coverage of the famine in Ethiopia. After seeing images of starving children, she decided that she'd do anything to help the people in Africa who needed it the most. After getting her diploma of education, Gemma volunteered in Uganda at a girls centre teaching maths, science and sewing. After meeting her soon-to-be husband, who approached her about buying some land to build a school, Gemma ended up raising enough money back in Australia and established the School of St Jude in Tanzania. She now has over 2000 in attendance, ok who wants to move to Africa after that story? ME!
